High Interest Day

We are excited for our upcoming High Interest Day at St. Anthony on the Lake School!

Students work with high school students, parents and community volunteers and organizations to explore different careers, hobbies and activities in a hands-on environment. Sessions include sports, dance, baking activities, STEM, careers in law enforcement, orthopedics, finance and manufacturing, arts and craft sessions, animal experiences and more. 

Student Session Sign Ups:

Students, sign up for your High Interest Day Sessions here! Please click the link for your appropriate grade level. Choices are due by May 3rd.

(Please note, effort will be made to place students in as many of their choice preferences as possible but choosing a session does not guarantee placement into that session). 
 

High Interest Day Session Descriptions 

• 3K-5K Session Sign Up
• 1st- 3rd Grade Session Sign Up
• 4th-8th Grade Session Sign Up

If you signed up for the Reptile Show, you must fill out this waiver to be able to touch the reptiles. If you just want to see the show then a waiver does not need to be filled out.

• Please return the signed waiver to your teacher by May 10th. 

If you signed up for the HAWS session you must return this waiver.

• Please return the signed waiver to your teacher by May 9th.

Donate Items

Please sign up to donate specific items needed to make the day great! Items should be brought in by May 9th and labeled High Interest Day or HID. Thank you in advance for your support!

Volunteers

We Need You! High Interest Day is a day is set aside to provide an opportunity for all students to explore different careers, hobbies and activities in a hands-on environment (such as dance, fencing, baking, gymnastics, karate, STEM, and careers such as medical, engineering, firefighting, and more.).

Thank you to all the families that have already reached out to us and signed up to run a session. You will be contacted soon with more information about the day.

We are still in need of more help - it definitely takes a village to put on such an amazing and fun event for the kids. If you want to help and aren't sure what you can do, don't worry, we did the planning for you. All you have to do is sign up, show up and help run a station. We will have the stations all organized for you. Please sign up for a session that might interest you.
